ACDSee's main purpose is to view images, but recent versions of the program have added new features to enhance its functionality. It supports over 100 different image formats, including GIF, BMP, JPG, PNG, PSD, TIFF, and TGA. The program includes a photo viewer that displays small icons of all the images in a selected folder. Various filters allow users to organize images based on category, personal value, metadata information (such as author and date), size, and file format. In addition to viewing and organizing images, ACDSee offers basic editing tools like rotation, cropping, resizing, exposure adjustment, brightness and contrast control, red-eye removal, noise reduction, and text adding. It also comes with a built-in CD burning tool, eliminating the need for additional programs to complete this task.
